The radius is a straight line from the center of the circle to any point on its edge. It is the distance from the center to the boundary.
The radius is half the diameter. All radii of the same circle are exactly the same length, because every point on the circle is the same distance from the center.
The radius and the diameter are directly related:
r = d / 2
